Our world of learning today is so visual. With all of the smart phones, tablets, televisions, e-books, and more, it's a rare event that a student is not constantly visually engaged.
Our students are truly amazing!
The turnover rate for our school is very minimal because our students are polite, kind, and generally have very good hearts. I look forward to going to school every single day because I know that I will have the privilege to interact with some amazing kids who are passionate about learning!
My Project
The product I am requesting, the ELMO document projector, will allow our students to absorb a real time visual of what I am seeing in the music we learn in our classrooms. Currently, it is a real challenge to keep middle school students engaged because I cannot show them immediately what to look at, or how to look at it. I have to describe exactly what I want them to look for and spend precious minutes making sure they are all in the same area. This projector will focus all visual attention and I can describe music in a much quicker, efficient way!
This project is very important to me, and will be great for our students.
