Many of my students are English Second Language learners. This graphic novel by Gareth Hinds does a stupendous job of maintaining the literary integrity of this classic while making it incredibly accessible to everyone.
Gareth Hinds' rendition of The Odyssey retains much of the rigor from the classical text, but with the addition of visual elements and simplified writing style that allows students to remove the barrier that the poetic narrative traditionally provides.
Additionally, Gareth Hinds provides access to something class textbooks do not: the whole story! Please, consider supporting my classes to experience the whole story of the Odyssey!
