My Project
Help me give provide my preschool students with autism the color visual supports they need to better understand and make sense of their environment. My preschoolers are natural explorers, adventure seekers, and risk takers.
A color printer will help me provide my students with color visual supports and to give them the tools needed to help them make sense of their environment and to better understand the world around them to thrive in school and in life.
Children with autism have difficulties with social interaction, communication and challenges with transitions and routines. Children with autism are visual learners. Being able to providing my students with color visual supports is crucial to enhance communication skills, reduce anxiety, and promote understanding of routines and expectations, leading to increased academic growth, independence and a sense of security.
