Help me give my students the art supplies, especially the markers which keep running out, they need to create visual representations of our science models, and have replacement lead for their pencils.
My students come from a very diverse background, and most of them cannot provide their own art supplies. We often have lessons in which students draw diagrams and scientific models, and they need markers, pens, and pencils in order to do so. We also do science notebooks in which students cut and tape things into their folders, so we need clear tape for these projects.
For example, we have been studying biomes in our class, and last week we did a sort and match activity in which the students had to match the correct biome adaptations with the correct biome, then tape them down in their folders.
For this same topic, students had to draw and color each world biome. We didn’t have enough markers and pens to let everyone illustrate their biomes.
Every day, I get asked for .7 lead…students manage to get the lead pencil, but not the refills.
