This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wonderful class of 13 special education students. My students are all impacted by significant disabilities, so school looks a little different for them. We are asking for a book binding machine so that we can make accessible books for our students that target their individual needs.

Our classroom represents a spectrum of abilities, and this machine will give us the ability to make custom materials that can be used over and over again.

With these books we will be able to target a multitude of skill and content in every subject. This special machine will support a truly individualized education for every student. Wait till you see what these kids can do!
