My 6th grade students are transitioning from elementary basics to a more challenging middle school curriculum. This is especially evident in math and science. Both of these subjects are often more easily understood through visual learning.
Individual whiteboards, markers, and dry erase magnets will enhance students' visual learning in the classroom.
When students are able to write, draw, graph or diagram their thinking, they are more likely to retain the information. Individual whiteboards will allow students the freedom to model their thinking. Other visual learning aids for the front of the class whiteboard will allow for interactive teaching and learning. My goal is to make their middle school academics more manageable through visual learning tools.
