My students need a document camera as many of them are visual learners! They like to use images, pictures, color and other visual media to help them learn.

My Students
Our classroom is located in a small school in rural western Minnesota. Students come into my classroom each day full of energy and ready to see what exciting, new thing we will be doing for the day.
My students have inquisitive minds and crave to know more about the world around them.
Technology is one of the tools I use in my classroom to engage and motivate learners. It has transformed the way students learn and interact with the skills they are learning. My students' favorite parts of the day are when they can use computers, iPads, or the interactive Promethean Board.
My Project
Many of my students are visual learners. They like to learn by use of pictures, color, images, videos, and demonstrations.
A document camera in our classroom, will allow me to help students learn new skills.
With the document camera, I will be able to model procedures for completing a task, create more discussion and interaction, maintain students' attention, and allow all students to see from anywhere in the classroom. We can't wait to use it in science to get close-ups of our experiments and I know the students will love using the document camera to share their work with others.
