Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My awesome, unique, and extraordinary students are part of a preschool for all learners program that welcomes young learners with special abilities. Our program provides the youngest age group of culturally diverse students an opportunity to begin their education. I love how hard my students work every day. I love how excited they are to come to school and learn. More students will be added to my class soon and I would like to have visuals ready to help guide them throughout the day. I would love to be able to provide them with the materials necessary to make their first experience at a school memorable, fun, and exciting!
My Project
The boards will be used in class to make writing a fun experience for my students! I will be using the visual timers to help my students transition from one activity to the next. The visual schedule will allow my students see what activity is coming next. They will be able to interact with the visual schedule and move the arrow onto the next activity.
All of my students have NEVER played with kinetic sand.
It will be a wonderful new experience for them! I would finally be able to see what beautiful sand sculptures they create.
