This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We propose creating a dynamic Digital Media Lab at our middle school, where students engage in hands-on learning using multiple monitors, computers, and keyboards. This space will empower students to edit and manipulate pictures, videos, and music, developing valuable 21st-century skills in creativity, collaboration, and technology. With access to industry-relevant tools and software, students will learn the fundamentals of digital storytelling, multimedia production, and responsible media use. The lab will enhance interdisciplinary learning, support student expression, and prepare learners for future academic and career opportunities in media, communications, and technology. Let’s inspire innovation through interactive, project-based learning.
