Help me give my students visual aids and the ability to provide interesting and creative supplemental materials through the use of a projector and screen. Students will understand health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness components on a deeper level.

My Project

Help me give my students the ability to understand on a deeper level health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition education. My students are from a low income rural area. They are amazing, but lack a solid basis of health and wellness. I believe it is important to gain knowledge on these topics at a young age so that you have the understanding to live an informed healthy life. I encourage them to make educated and informed decisions in regards to movement, sleep patterns, friendships, stress management, nutrition and much more.

I would love to have visual aid posters to include in lectures as well as the ability to show video's, presentations, and visuals through the use of a projector and screen to make lessons engaging on many health, fitness, and wellness topics.

The use of technology in my classroom would be a big addition to further encourage lifestyle habits for overall well-being. I have a passion to encourage students to move daily and make the best decisions they can in regards to lifelong health. The use of visuals to promote and support everything that I teach will further encourage my students daily to strive for the next level of wellness.

Mrs. Basham will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 14.
