This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of the students on my caseload have Cortical Visual Impairment or an ocular impairment.
Each teacher of the visually impaired having their own assessment materials with necessary paperwork at all times will benefit the child and the adult working with them.
It will be amazing for all the teachers of the visually impaired in our district to be able to have their own supplies to conduct annual functional vision assessments.
Having these materials in our department will be useful each and every day. Being able to assess the students with these new materials will be highly beneficial.
