Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are such hard workers and caring children. I am so proud of all they have achieved. Many do not have much financially, but they are big in heart and have an amazing work ethic! They also want to help and contribute to our community and society!

Our class focus this year is how we can help our environment and our community to make the world a better place.

From taking our lessons outside, working on one of our many environmental projects, to exploring our science content through exciting design challenges, we are always on the move and set to change the world!

My Project

In this new venture of virtual learning, I have only heard from 45 of my 90 classroom students. This is because of limited access to technology.

Not everyone has a Chromebook!

My students need Chromebooks to access Google Classroom and our daily assignments. It is not fair that my students can not get their work done because they do not have a device to use. So many are trying, using parents' phones, siblings are using 1 tablet; these situations are less than ideal. Please help me get these needed devices to my students. I have contacted the principal and we can make this happen!
