My Students
My students are such a joy to have. They are amazingly talented and bright, and I am excited for this school year. They are destined to do great things, and this year will be one of the best. Some of my students need a little more motivation than others, however all are willing to learn and explore new things.
Despite all circumstances, my students deserve the best possible education.
With the right resources and materials, I know that my students can excel even more than they are now. With virtual learning things have been different, and I want to make sure I am providing them with all the materials and resources they need to be successful.
My Project
While I would love to have my students in the classroom, we are making the best of virtual learning. Teaching virtually requires me to plan ahead, and prepare materials for my students regularly. With the resources requested I can better serve my children.
Although they won't be in the classroom, I still want this experience to be virtually awesome!
I want my students to have a better selection of books for small group, markers for their whiteboards, and paper to provide them with resources at home.
The books requested will allow for each of my students in the different groups to borrow a chapter book so that we can read more interesting books, and complete projects based on readings. The whiteboards markers we use a lot during instruction, so that I can quickly see who knows the content and who still needs help. We use them so much that they go through them quickly, so having extra will ensure that every student will have a marker to last throughout the year.
I know that this virtual experience is not ideal, but I know with the resources I want it can make it more interesting and fun.
