Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Every child is gifted, they just unwrap their packages at different times. My students are labeled as gifted learners; however it takes some of them a little longer to find their talent. I think that is how it is with all of us. We just have to find our place in the world.

My Project

With many of my students choosing virtual learning this year, I am looking for cool and creative ways to help students learn. My students love to use their imagination to create STEM projects and challenges. By incorporating more project based learning activities into my lessons, my students will actively explore real-world problems and challenges and acquire a deeper knowledge of subjects studied. Since students are learning more from home, I want to give them unique opportunities to explore the world. I have found several project based learning activities from Teachers Pay Teachers that will allow them to "travel" the US and other nations by researching places of interest. My students love to research and will enjoy this learning opportunity. These two Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to provide this for them.
