My Students

We are a strong urban community full of vibrant, curious learners, who are eager to express themselves and their individual stories as they learn and grow. Students in our school come from many diverse backgrounds and many speak multiple languages. Our school is located in Northeast Philadelphia, and sits in the middle of a busy urban community.

Our students are in need of supplies to assist in their creative endeavors for growth, as these supplies may not be readily available to them.

The children are part of a Title I school community. They will benefit by being given the tools with which to express their thoughts and dreams, as they expand their vision of what community means to each of them.

My Project

Many of my students do not have access to learning materials, and their time online with me will be enhanced and made exciting by the use of a document camera. This way I can share story books, worksheets, games and presentations in a simple and concise way, while keeping the classroom fun and dynamic.

Students will benefit from colorful and creative activities, and the document camera, along with other supplies, will provide the means to make this happen form them.
