I have seven awesome students in 2nd-3rd grade. My class is one of three classes in our district for students with autism. We love learning! My students are visual, hands-on learners who deserve the best academic experience possible.
We spend our days learning about academic subjects, social skills, and we all mainstream into general education classes to further our social skills and make new friends.
Our school was the 36th school, internationally, to receive STEM certification, and we are a STEAM school.
My Project
This year, due to the large number of students who have chosen to go virtual, I have been selected to teach students ranging from first to fifth grade special education. This is a bit new for me and the students as we charter into new waters.
I need materials and resources that are simple to add to Google Classroom.
