This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school in a low economic area. Our classroom is filled with varying abilities and learning styles. One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. For some, those are the only meals they can rely on. Most families are blended families and some students only have one parent.

Despite the many challenges that they face, my students are always ready to learn and eager to try new things.

I strive to provide them with rich experiences because they are resilient learners who love school.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers.

I have used Teachers Pay Teachers as a learning go-to source and find it a valuable tool to be able to reach all the learning styles of students. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students during the 2020-2021 school year and for many years to come, and this gift card could put them right at my fingertips. Every year, I utilize the website Teachers Pay Teachers to find lessons and projects that extend what I am teaching my students.
