Virtual Resources for Virtual Learning

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district where my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with a creative and meaningful learning experience.

My music room is full of awesome and hardworking students.

They come from very diverse backgrounds and financial needs. We are proud of these differences and the students enjoy learning from each other.

My Project

Due to COVID-19, all of my young musicians are virtual learners, with hopes of moving to a hybrid model in the second semester. Regardless, some or all of my young musicians will remain in the world of virtual learning for the remainder of the school year.

Converting my curriculum to teach music online is very challenging, but there are some awesome resources available from amazing music educators via TeachersPayTeachers.

My young musicians are in their early years of their music journeys and need lots of repetition with variety and online compatible. There are resources available on TpT that provide just that! Not repetitive or bland worksheets, interactive games and manipulatives.
