This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In an effort to increase our school attendance we are putting together a game room. Students have been unmotivated to attend school on a regular basis. School should be a place of learning not just academically for sociality and emotionally. Since the COVID pandemic out chronic absenteeism is at 45%. They love sports and technology and this playstation will help them race each other and play virtual sports games.
We need to place emphasis on the Social emotional learning by having engaging opportunity for kids to mingle and play.
This playstation will give my student an opportunity to socialize and grow together. It will also motivate students to come to school.
