My Students
As a special education teacher teaching students with Autism and varying disabilities, I see students daily who are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, my students are eager to learn both academics and life skills in order to create for themselves a better life.
My students are eager learners that enjoy learning about the world around them and being involved in everyday activities.
My students are students who have been identified with varying disabilities and who have been identified as needing resource services. They are very intelligent students, with several also being identified as gifted, who enjoy the things every elementary student enjoys.
My Project
School is going to look a bit different this year! As a resource teacher, I will be teaching students both in-person and virtually.
The materials that I am requesting will help me to have the necessary resources necessary to ensure that virtual learning is fun and beneficial.
The extra usb ports, the wireless mouse, webcam and stand will be used for virtual classrooms and will allow me the ability to show "work" and examples using concrete manipulatives. The whiteboards will allow me to send one home with each student so that we can work on things together and in real time.
