My Project

Help me level the playing field by providing virtual reality learning experiences for all students at Messalonskee Middle School. I am the technology integrator looking to introduce this technology learning tool across our curriculum in hopes that we will add more in the future. Our science and social studies teachers, already on board, look to create a learning station within their units to incorporate virtual reality as a way of connecting and embedding information into their minds.

Virtual reality learning experiences allow students learn in tactile, visual, and kinesthetic environments.

Living in a lakes region in Maine, we have a diverse socio-economic population. These headsets will allow "all" our students to experience learning in new ways. Imagine being in the space station or inside a cell or climbing up Mt. Everest experiencing different weather climates, or creating atoms and molecules manipulating their properties, or studying human body system inside the body! Help me open this immersive learning tool to "all" our students.
