My students walk into kindergarten so eager to learn and grow! They attend a Title One school in Virginia, which means most of the children come from single-family homes who are doing everything they can, just to make ends meet.
When they come to school, it is my job to provide them with a warm, nurturing, safe place to learn.
This year, my students are all learning one hundred percent virtually, so I strive to provide them access to materials that they may not have available to them at home. With your donation, I can help my students become successful kindergartners!
My Project
My virtual Kindergarteners have been working hard all year learning their letters, sounds, sight words, numbers and more! I would love to have a spring celebration of all of their hard word with an educational egg hunt!
I will write letters, sight words, CVC words to blend, numbers, and more on the eggs and distribute to families to hide around the house for a virtual learning egg hunt!
Students will find their eggs, read what is on the outside, and then open them up for a fun surprise! I also will give them sidewalk chalk so that they can practice these skills outside as the weather warms up.
