This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic, fun-loving, and resilient kids! They come from low-income households and have not had much experience outside of their neighborhoods. Despite the hardships of our school closure, they are still excited to learn online!
My students and I have embarked on the journey of distance learning.
This has not been an easy task since many of my students do not have easy access to the internet or hotspots. Many of my students depend on worksheet packets and whatever materials they have at home. Despite the many hardships that most of them face, they are eager to work and learn from home!
My Project
My amazing students have taken on the challenge of virtual learning during our Spring session. As we get ready for a new school year through distance learning, the challenges wont stop! The material I am asking for will help my students clearly see the materials I am sharing with them virtually. The Xebec Tri-Screen will allow me to have multiple monitors. This way I can share my screen during our synchronous learning time so students can look at what I am sharing. At the same time I will still be able to see my students and interact with them.
This project will provide a way to share multiple screens, so that I can assist my students with their remote learning experiences.
For example, in third grade students will need to work on multiplication. With the Tri-Screen that will physically go over my computer I will be able to share multiplication problems and still see my students on my computer screen. This will allow me to better assess my students and to continuously see them as I teach them.
