My Students

Hello friends! I am a first-year teacher at a Title I school. Most of my students come from hard backgrounds. The school shutdown caught everyone by surprise, including me. We are fortunate enough to give each family one Chromebook.

Ever since school shutdown, the parents have tried their best to ensure their child is still learning by having work packets, online assignments, and joining Google Meet sessions for lessons.

We are trying to keep the school routine/ normalcy as much as possible.

My Project

My project will benefit all my kindergarten students. It is for TP T (Teachers Pay Teachers) is a website teachers use to buy resources. These gift cards will buy educational resources for distance learning. It will allow me to buy a variety of resources that will help with reading and writing such as a Phonics Curriculum. The curriculum includes lesson plans, assessments, and materials for group instruction that can be used in distance learning and in-person. I hope to pair this with the interactive notebook, I already own.

TPT will allow my students to continue learning at home with a variety of educational resources.

Help me get the resources that my students need to meet their needs. These gift cards will allow me to buy resources that will help differentiate learning to meet the needs of my students. Some are reading well and others are struggling to read. Help me prepare them with resources that will benefit and help meet their current learning needs through the remainder of the school year.
