I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom.
My students are an amazing group of third graders who are eager to learn and explore.
They are living a growth-mindset philosophy, embracing the new learning experiences and challenges and are ready to stretch and grow their brain muscles. Children are like sponges, ready to soak up everything. It is my pleasure and duty to help shape their precious minds to love learning and be successful.
My Project
My students will be learning online while at home. I need to make sure that students needs are being met during our lessons. The use of whiteboards and fraction math manipulatives will helps students to show their work. This is also provide students fraction bars that they will be able to move around and identify the similarities and differences.
My students do not have the option to be in school right now but that doesn't mean learning has to stop.
These materials will help students better understand the math concepts that will be taught online.
