This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We need more innovators! Innovators need support. In order for this to happen students at Title I schools need equal opportunities. I have amazing students! Due to Covid-19 students don't have access to STEM lab supplies. Despite the low economics and high crime in the neighborhoods, my students give 100% each day. I need materials LEGO supplies to be sent home from the STEM Lab for virtual learning.

Today's students are tomorrow's problem solvers, innovators, and leaders.

I believe everyone can create & innovate and that students can make a difference. Help my student innovators mindset be empowered & unleash their talent by helping me lead a culture of creativity in my school. With hands-on learning utilizing tools & materials that turn ideas into adventures through the world of STEAM. With these supplies, I will help my students have a brighter future in gaining more technology skills, coding skills and getting LEGOS back in the hands of my students.

My Project

Having LEGO WeDo 2.0 Kits at home will help engage my students in virtual learning. The LEGO WeDo kits help students build STEM skills needed in FIRST LEGO League Explore Robotics program.

My students want to participate in FIRST LEGO League Explore Virtually and they need LEGO WeDo Kits.

By providing FIRST Explore Program virtually to my students it will help my students be more engaged in their academics. Students will be able to have something to look forward to. In addition, the FIRST LEGO League Explore Program helps students develop 21st learning skills through project learning they will develop: collaboration skills, critical thinking skills, presentation skills, project management skills, etc.
