This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are talented, inquisitive, and even though they come from varied social-economic backgrounds they are curious and invested in their learning. This pandemic experience has been chellenging to make Chemistry tangible to them; that's why I need your help.

My Project

Providing students with live demonstrations and solving problems live through Zoom classes will facilitate their ability to grasp abstract content in a virtual platform that proves to be difficult for those that are hands-on and kinesthetic learners. Sometimes the virtual labs are not sufficient; they need real-world applications to make the content more applicable to their experiences especially in an urban district. I wish to elevate my students to excellence so they may reach their greatest potential. This year has proven difficult, and I just want to lessen the learning gap.
