This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Virtual business is an exciting way to teach students how business ownership is a gateway towards the American dream. This opportunity is often lost for inner-city students who have limited resources and experiences to guide them on this economic path. This path should be given to all our students.

Living in the heart of the inner-city, these students have a unique perspective on the value of education.

They use their experiences to motivate them to succeed. Our students are multi-ethnic and have form a unique bond that makes our school truly unique and a joy to work at.

My Project

Marketing is a key component of business today. Without it, business will fail. It is for this reason student's must create commercials for their virtual business projects. But lack of equipment is a problem with inner-city students. This should not be a limit to their creativity or participation in this activity. The camcorder and computer will enable students to show their true creativity and aptitude to succeed in the business world of today.

Without your support, true authentic learning will not be possible.
