My Students

My students are learners from a struggling Appalachia area in WV. They come together in our middle school from two elementary schools, consisting of four small country towns. My students love to learn in various ways. All students learn differently. When students don’t have the proper tools, learning can be very difficult.

My students need a 3D printer in order to help them learn to their fullest potential while showcasing their creativity at the same time.

With this tool, my students can become successful in middle school!

My Project

Having a creative mind can be exciting for middle schoolers. However, students don't always have the proper tools to let their creativity shine through.

By having a 3D printer in our classroom, my students will be able to create their masterpieces and watch them come to life before their very eyes.

My students have already developed some ideas for if we ever receive a printer for our room. They have developed safety devices, devices to sell at their school store for their entrepreneurial education projects, and gifts for family members and friends. By having the printer, my students will be able to showcase their creativity while learning at the same time.
