Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Look what I see! That is what I want to hear my students say this year.

My school is a Title I school.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, but one thing they have in common is that they have a interest in learning about the world beyond our school.

Many of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My students are bright, happy students that enjoy learning about the world around them. Many students will not be able to travel and see the areas we learn about in the class or see the science cycles we illustrate in class. These viewers will give a visual.

My Project

The Viewers and Slides will help my students see what we are learning about. Not often do students get to travel to the different areas of the world we learn about in school or see the different life cycles we read about in science class. These viewers and slides will help bring to life the subjects and places we travel to in class through our reading.

After viewing places around the world the students can put their building skills to use with the Maga-Tiles to build and design structures they traveled to with the viewers and slides from the Around the World sets.
