This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our growing band, dance, and choral programs have become a very integral part of our school. Our Visual and Performing Arts Department has many students who are applying to local vocational high school programs for the arts. With these applications, students are required to submit audition videos, and many of our students do not have access to appropriate technology to record these auditions in a professional manner.

Please help my students prepare for high school auditions by having appropriate recording technology and a way to assess themselves.

Our Arts Department also is looking to record performances as we prepare for competitions. Self-reflection is a necessary skill both as a performer and as a future working member of society. By having access to quality recording equipment, we are able to reflect on performances to improve our performances.
