Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In today's digital age, proficiency and literacy in STEM such as digital design and media production is increasingly important. By equipping kids with STEM skills, they are better prepared to compete in the global marketplace and contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation.

Students will use tools like Adobe Creative Suite and GarageBand available on the Mac Mini, our students can explore graphic design, video editing, music composition, coding, and more.

Hands-on experience with technology is invaluable for nurturing my students' interest in STEM. We are an IB school and our students complete real-world projects every 6 weeks in the areas of sharing the planet, light and sound, visual expression, and researching weather/climate.

The Video Production group will be the leaders of the school. They will use this equipping Mac Mini in our classrooms around the building. This computer would become a collaborative learning environment where the students can take the classroom smart board and turn it into a visual tool for learning.
