Musical, creative, inquisitive, energetic...these are all words that describe my students. They love to sing, move, play instruments, and learn in hands-on ways. They love to use drums, Orff instruments, and ukuleles in our music room, and they love to perform.
Around 25% of our students come from military families, and this brings them their own unique set of challenges.
I want to teach them a love for music that will last them their whole lives, wherever they may find themselves.
Concerts are exciting events for young musicians, and my students are no exception! It's easy to be excited and children are still learning performance behavior and expectations. A well done video of the concert will allow students to see themselves and take pride in their accomplishment while also seeing areas in which they can improve.
We've recently received several students from Puerto Rico due to hurricane Maria, and I want to offer every good experience possible as they settle into a new environment.
We would love to be able to have a great quality video of performances- it will help with community morale and pride, as well as help students to grow!
