My Students
My school is a special one that is dedicated to just kindergarten. There are 15 kindergarten classrooms all with 20+ students with a population of 90+% that are ELL (English Language Learners). 80% of these students are also considered to be high poverty. My classroom is an ELL room with both special education and regular education students. These are high need students who come to school to feel safe from the world where some of which do not even know where their next meal is coming from.
My Project
By receiving these materials, my students will have vibrant colored storage for all of our class library books, classroom materials, and center activities.
My students love using my class library, but the bins we currently have are starting to break, and are very flimsy. These book bins will allow for students to easily utilize my classroom library without concern of the bins breaking.
We will also be able to keep all of our community materials together in the caddy for their tables to share with one another!
The center storage bins will keep our learning centers and pieces together when we are rotating for differentiated instruction.
