Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am an ESL teacher to students who are very hardworking, creative, and eager to learn. Most, who, are new to the United States and with each student, through academic and cultural experiences, learning and obtaining the information looks different. Whatever that may look like, regardless of the English proficiency, they love to read or be read to, write, and creative activities.
My Project
Teaching a community of ELL (English Language Learners) and newcomers, visual aids, text support, and graphs are vital for them to help guide their learning throughout the school year.
Having this printer will give them endless possibilities to create and learn.
We plan to have 'Writing Workshop Fridays" in class and build-a-book. We will implement all they have learned and help with sentence structure, create little stories and essays.
I know they will make the most out of this printer, because they are so imaginative. Having this printer will not only help the creativity and writing abilities of the students, but it will be cost effective with the large amount of projects we plan to do.
