Veterans Christmas and Valentine's Day Cards

Help me give my students supplies to make Christmas and Valentine's Day cards for veterans who are in the hospital. Paper and markers are just the surface of what these students can use, this supplies makes it better.

My Students

My students come from various different backgrounds and family dynamics, one thing that makes them special is their ability to work together and make our community proud.

My leadership class enjoys hand-making Christmas and Valentine's Day cards to send to veterans who are in the VA hospital.

The holidays can sometimes be a lonely time and our veterans deserve to know how much they are appreciated and loved. The students of the Keys leadership class take pride in making our veterans know how loved and appreciated they are by making and sending cards to the hospital.

My Project

My leadership class is asked yearly to hand make Christmas and Valentine's Day cards to send to veterans who are in the local VA hospital. My students research different ideas and make beautiful cards for people they don't know, but know they appreciate and respect what veterans have sacrificed for our freedom. We are requesting markers, card stock, paint brushes and stickers so that students can make Christmas and Valentine's Day cards for veterans who are in the hospital.

These students take great pride in the work they do, they often receive thank you letters from the recipients for taking the time to show love and appreciation for our veterans.

It often takes a few weeks for the students to make them as perfect as they want. They believe that veterans deserve only the best.
