My Project

In math classrooms, checking student comprehension of concepts without paper-pencil activities can be challenging. Using whiteboards in a math classroom allows for quick and easy student progress checks. While small whiteboards are useful, I have found that middle school students are more engaged when they are up and moving. Adding more whiteboards to our classroom walls would allow more students access to vertical learning opportunities. Students look forward to vertical learning days and become more engaged with their learning to become stronger math students. Along with more whiteboards, the class would also need more erasers, markers, and cleaners. These supplies would allow the classes to have a more interactive classroom with less seatwork.
