Vertical Math Adds Up!

Help me give my students small pencils for learning to hold a pencil and write correctly and the resources needed for success with vertical math workstations. The need in the classroom is great but the reward is priceless.

My Project

The pencils I am requesting will be used to accommodate early learning in the classroom with learning correct pencil grip and how to write. Small hands need small pencils to learn with before moving on to a regular pencil.

The dry erase sheets will be used daily for vertical math workstations.

Each day, I give my students various tasks to work on with a partner. The dry erase sheets are used to show their work and for everyone to have a visual of different strategies. It is important to be able to see and share their learning.
