My Project
The specific items that I am requesting will help my students learn in a new way. They are used to sitting in their chairs and listening to the teacher teach them, but with Vertical Learning, they are out of their seats, they are in a collaborative group setting, and they are solving problems that take time to think through.
My goals for this project are to have students collaborate together, have a job for each student to complete while in a group and learn how to collaborate together to solve a problem through modeling, data, analytics and problem solving.
Students today need to be out of their seats and this is a great way to promote this. Vertical learning has shown wonderful results in many schools and students learning from each other is a great way to build upon new ideas and create ingenuity.
