My Project

My ninth grade students have recently read and fell in love with Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet." Students are currently planning for an ELA festival at our school where they will be able to present projects we have been working on in our classes. This semester's project is called "Verona's Next Top Model!" The paint, brushes, markers and other materials we are asking for will help students in the designing and creating of a hat that represents one of the characters in the tragedy. The Guillotine Paper Cutter will enable students to make clean, precise cuts and the Mobile Box Drawer Organizer will be used to store all the supplies. Students will showcase their hats by taking part in a Shakespearean inspired fashion show where their creations will be put on display and critiqued by a panel of their peers!
