My Project
The art supplies and book inspiration will provide the tools needed to create a bi-coastal art gallery showcasing and connecting fifth graders across the country.
Our goal for this project is for our students to gain understanding and perspective about what it means to be a global citizen through connections via self-portraits shared across the miles.
Our students in Hawai'i and Vermont will use an identity study to increase self awareness and global connections through art, perspective building and identity discovery and sharing. Our students are motivated to continue building their identity and place in the world.
