My Project

We have noticed many students do not have the proper supplies for the school year.

My grade partners and I could use some help with making sure ALL of our students are starting off the school year well supplied and feeling like that are ready.

Over the past several years my grade partners and I have bought and will continue to do so, school supplies for our students. However, it has become more and more of a financial challenge when we have noticed more and more students unable to come to school with the proper supplies.

The permanent markers are to be used on index cards and post it notes for when they are working in small groups. As for the white board markers they are used mostly through math classes on their white boards. The crayons are to help with maps, journals, science projects, social studies, and so much more. The boxes of pencils are a desperate need. As for my grade partners and I, we have noticed if every student has the same materials (like a 24 box of crayons) there is less embarrassment, teasing, and fighting. The past two years we have noticed a better classroom environment when everyone is equally supplied.
