The students and staff at my school are a family. We have a culturally and economically diverse population, but there is a close-knit family feeling that does not exist at every school.
My students are enthusiastic learners who are always eager to, create, design and build.
I teach art to students from Kindergarten through eighth grade students. We integrate and explore a variety of topics in my art room all while students learn about themselves and the world around them.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of art materials for my young artists. The dough is for my youngest students. It would help in the development of fine motor skills as they explore three dimensional and textural work. Acrylic paint would help students to complete sculptures of plaster or paper mache. The drawing supplies would give students a variety of materials to use instead of just crayons and markers.
My students would be thrilled to have more options available to create and explore.
This is my first year at this school, and the art room is lacking some supplies that I like to have available.
