Help me give my students the opportunity to grow through art. Art can be added in reading, language arts, math and science. Students excel when they are able to create and show their projects in a meaningful way.

My Project

First graders need the experience to cut, paste, glue, draw and create meaningful projects. The art supplies asked for are used for Language Arts. All students write about a famous person such as George Washington, then make a picture to accompany their writing. I will also use the items to enhance my stem lessons. It is great to see students create projects through art.

First grade art is the best!

I will make an art portfolio book and a writing portfolio book for all students. This is a year long project that is enhanced by students illustrating their work. The parents and students in the past have loved their student's work. It takes a lot of work, however with the right supplies I am happy to bind and put their books together.
