My Project

As students begin to pursue more advanced coursework in math and science, the tools they use can have a profound effect on their learning. The TI-84 graphing calculator is one such tool—a powerful resource that supports deep understanding, efficient problem-solving, and academic growth.

In higher-level math classes like Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, students are expected to manipulate complex equations and interpret data with precision.

The TI-84 makes these tasks manageable by enabling quick graphing, equation solving, and statistical analysis. It allows students to test hypotheses, visualize mathematical concepts, and correct errors with greater ease and independence.

In science, the calculator proves equally vital. From calculating kinetic energy to interpreting lab data in Chemistry or Physics, students rely on the TI-84 for real-time problem solving. It becomes an extension of the scientific process, helping students focus on reasoning rather than just computation.

For students in underfunded schools, owning a TI-84 calculator can remove a significant barrier to success. It empowers them to engage fully with challenging material both in and outside of the classroom, leveling the playing field and giving them the confidence to pursue STEM fields in college and beyond.
