Computers are integrated in many aspects in life. Our students are piloting a computer initiative in which they are allowed to use their own laptops in class. Teachers have to come up with engaging lessons in order for students to complete many assignments in class. As a mathematics teacher, I have to ensure that students are reaching the Common Core Standards in Mathematics. However, there is no way for them to clean their computers. Since these are touchscreen computers, their fingerprints are EVERYWHERE!!! Additionally, we need paper to photocopy key assignments that we have the working on at home. At this time, they are unable to take their computers home.
