My Project

The products chosen will help teachers, paras, and students be more productive in class and will provide teachers the opportunity to have the necessities needed to be more successful. Every year, teachers and paras spend money on basic supplies that every student needs. Most teachers go through at least four pencils a day, have to provide journals weekly, and are in dire need of folders to help students stay organized. The two digital clocks will be used to help the anxiety of some of our students who need to know the time but can't wear watches and can't tell time. The light will help the Content Mastery para to see clearly, as her eyes are struggling with the lights in the room. The chairs will be utilized among the students who struggle to sit still in class every day. The colored overlays will be used to help students for our students who are dyslexic or just need help focusing on the content in front of them. The students that I work with every day are in Special Education and most are not prepared for the day-to-day tasks. Without the supplies, students will not be focused and prepared to be successful in the classroom. As a Special Education Team Lead, my team is so important to me, and knowing that I can help provide them with some resources to help their students in Special Education succeed in the classroom. My goal is for every student to feel prepared and supported by the Special Education staff.
