Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come to school energetic and ready to learn every day! They enjoy movement and hands-on activities the most. Our students come from a family-oriented diverse community and most of them will be the first generation in their family to attend college. They are very respectful and always willing to put in the work to achieve success. My co-teacher and I strive to serve our students and their families.

My Project

As the year 2020 came to an end, and now in 2021, we are still facing the Covid 19 pandemic. We have had a steady incline of cases and our parents have opted to keep the students at home during the uncertainty of all of this.

Help me give my classroom sweethearts some Valentine's Day goodies to bring joy and cheer and to help feel some sort of normalcy during an un-normal time.

I have goodie bags I plan to have the children decorate with stickers and colors, and wish to provide them with some party favors to add to their goodie bag to pick up, along with snacks and other treats myself and my co teacher will be providing.
