Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the month of February I want to give my students a class party as a reward so that they can have fun and enjoy "Friendship Day" with their friends!

Since they have been great pre-k scholars and are going to continue being exemplar students, I would love to give them something special after working so hard.

These candies, Valentine toys, and chocolates will be used to make goodie bags for them! This backdrop and balloons will be used for me to take pictures of them so that they can have something to remember “Friendship Day” in Ms. Almanza’s class!

Students will celebrate “Friendship Day” and learn to appreciate the importance of being a good friend. Being able to have some of these celebrations in class make my students more motivated to come to school, and enjoy their overall school experience. These celebrations allow my students to create better relationships with their friends and classmates.

All of my students have worked hard and they truly deserve to have fun after such a hard working year and if I am able to give them a little bit of fun every single month to show them how much I appreciate their hard work, I will do my best. They will be so excited with their Valentine reward bags!
