My Students

My students are first graders who attend a Title I school in a rural area. My students come to me with a desire to learn and an eagerness to experience new things.

My students have a thirst for knowledge that will impact the world we live in.

It is my job to help them grow as individuals and to foster a community of learners.

My Project

This year our classroom setup has looked different from previous years. Our students are currently learning from home. This project will allow me to send home a Valentine snack bag. We are not able to have Valentine's parties as usual because of safety measures taken due to COVID-19. I want to spread the joy and happiness in this challenging time. I also want to foster a relationship with my students and let them know that they are important. I know my students will be thrilled to have the materials requested in this project. It will definitely put a smile on their hardworking faces!
